We were fortunate last September to support the efforts of @ProjectLadyBug in a Twitterthon. Our sponsor @delprado, ended up donating $10,000 towards the charity which stands today as our highest total for a Twitterthon to date. Today we highlight Project LadyBug as our Spotlight Cancer Charity of the Day.
Project LadyBug’s mission is to enrich the lives of children with life threatening conditions. Check out their web site at www.projectladybug.org. The Fund strives to help families face the financial and the emotional hardships during their child's treatment to help meet the needs of seriously ill and less fortunate patients.
Dina Manzo is the founder of Project LadyBug. You may recognize Dina as the former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star. (You can find Dina at @dinamanzo on Twitter or on her web site at http://www.dinamanzo.com/index.html)
Today, however, Dina focuses her energy for her Project LadyBug Foundation. The Project LadyBug Fund strives to improve the quality of life for these children and families during treatment, and improve outcomes for these patients.
